Mechanical Testing

Hardness Testing

Hardness testing is typically used for regular quality controls to ensure that the material meets certain specified criteria. Hardness testing may as well be used for estimation of mechanical properties such as tensile strength. We provide hardness testing using Vickers, micro-Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell and Leeb rebound (portable).

Typical applications:

  • Hardness profile over welds
  • Measuring of hardening depth
  • Verification of heat treatment
  • Quality controls in conjunction with failure investigations
